Compaq Presario CQ40-101AU XP Drivers

Note:
After some reading and research, this model was one of the difficult notebook model to install Audio for windows XP. When you read my post below, you will need to install it manually and you will hear the sound. I listed the guide that may useful to help solve the problems.

please Download .Netframework before others:
Net framework 2.0
Download

AUDIO:
MS-UAA: Download(sp33867)

for windows XP SP3:
If ms-uaa above failed, use this patch: KB835221.exe

restart after install MS-UAA and install

Conexant High Definition Audio
Download (sp39671)

Installing this audio driver may resulting in error, install anyway and continue with this step:

1. Manually install audio Driver

2. after that install

ATI HD Audio Device: Download


2. In case after install the audio and it disappear after restart follow guide here:

Choose one of the wireless driver base on your specs, if you dont know, just try each driver (there are no risk and will not harm your system)
