problems from vista to xp - hp laptop - hardisk not found

While installing windows xp on certain hp laptop you might see this screen appear and you can't continue.

it tells "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer" then this error happens because your computer has a storage controller that isn't supported natively in XP, usually a SATA controller. Especially in HP laptops without free DOS you cannot install other operating systems. Solving this problem is very simple. Just follow the steps below. This technique requires no software or downloads.

so this post is written by http://techrena.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-to-install-your-own-wndows-xp-in-hp.html

So you can read the whole post and i hope this can help you to install xp on your laptop. I just wonder why most of laptop company lack of support today especially for xp. Maybe they want to make xp goes down. For me xp rocks...
